Overview

iTeam is an Indiana-based startup that brings visionary CXOs together in specialized Think Tanks to share insights, solve challenges, and grow their businesses.

iTeam wanted to solve the problem of CXOs facing overwhelming pressures—from meeting business targets and staying competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape to managing customer retention and talent challenges.

To address these issues, the team and I designed iSight, an all-inclusive service that provides vital information and services that are necessary for CXOs to create and implement strategic plans to achieve their business goals.

Research

I conducted four semi-structured interviews and performed desk research like competitive analysis to gain a clear understanding and help us uncover the unique challenges and pressures faced by CXOs in today’s business landscape.

Problem Statement

As a small company CEO, I need a consulting firm that aligns with our values and delivers effective growth strategies to boost leads and conversions. However, I struggle to find one whose solutions truly match our goals.

The Solution - iSight

iSight addresses these needs by providing a comprehensive dashboard that consolidates data, tools, and peer networks to empower leaders with informed, strategic decision-making. Built on iTeam’s existing offerings, iSight integrates seamlessly into daily operations, enabling leaders to track key metrics, drive innovation, and strengthen their market position.

The Design Strategy

  • Ensure an intuitive dashboard where users can access critical insights at a glance.

  • Reduce cognitive load with clear visual hierarchy and data visualization techniques.

Business Model

As part of the project, we needed to ensure that the product has a viable business plan, so we chose a SaaS model that integrates seamlessly with iTeam's offerings. We promote customer growth and maximize recurring revenue by providing tiered subscriptions. This approach maximizes value for CEOs while steadily scaling to meet user needs.

The Business Strategy

  • Integrate with iTeam's existing solutions to provide a consistent user experience and increase cross-selling opportunities.

  • Improve AI abilities to offer useful predictions and insights based on data, making iSight a valuable tool for strategic decision-making.

Learnings

Working on this project showed me how important it is to balance what a business wants with what users really need. Keeping this balance makes sure that every solution is focused on the user, can be put into action, and matches the overall goals of the business.
